The book is fairly helpful on overall techniques for a variety of down rigger uses plus reccomnedations on equipment and accessories. What I was looking for and did not find find were the little tidbits like how to attach the line to the release and how to adjust tension on various releases and other little but needed informtion llike that.

I'm a beginer when it comes to downrigger fishing. This book was very helpfull in fishing techniques and also the setting up the downriggers on the boat.
