I bought one of these about 15 months ago, and it has worked fine for me. I surface mounted it on my dash where I already had a hole so I didn't have to cut another one. The fact it only has 3 charge levels is a little of a draw back, but it seems pretty accruate. I haven't unexpectedly run out of charge yet.

I purchased the Remote 3 battery monitor mainly because it is a surface mount unit. I was not to sure about only 3 different levels of juice left (100%, 50%, and 0%), but I really did not feel like cutting a hole to mount a battery monitor. Unfortunately, Bank 3 on the unit did not work. Battery was fine, but the unit was defective. So, instead of returning it for a replacement, I chose a different battery monitor instead.

Works on 3 12-volt only. You may need to connect each wire to the battery and have a jumper between your two 12-volts (24) like the chargers.Details:Â
As this indicator is used for monitoring the status up to three batteries, is it packed with three set of DC cords, or do I need to order DC cords separately?Answers
