Pro Mag mags
I have used Pro Mags for several years, especially when original equipment mags are no longer available. The consistant quality and reliability are what keeps me coming back.

At first I liked the product because the mag loaded easier than the stock mags. It loads into the gun and falls freely out.
But then I got it to the range and learned that the follower rides too high because the spring is too loose (that's why it loaded so easily). The high follower caused the slide stock to lock back with one bullet still in the magazine every time. It's not the gun, it operates normally with the stock mags.

Not a good fit
Got one of these for my SW1911. The magazine works well but it doesn't fit as well as the factory magazines, it needs more force to click into place and does not drop freely.

Tested with Winchester 9mm Nato, Ultra max, and Herters. All fed well. Onely Herters misfed on first mag that was preloaded with 10 rounds and let set for 2 days. After that, all were 10/10 in a Browning Hi-Power mag. Repeated several times with each mag and each ammo type as well as O.E. mags. No problems. You do have 30 days to return if necessary. The springs are strong in this mag.
