I echo the comment made about these boots coming no where close to my knee. I ordered a ladies size 8 and received a boys size 6. I'm guessing this is why the boots were so short. The quality of the boots seemed fine for the price, but they are too short for what I need them for (aquatic research). I would strongly suggest that the description be more accurate to reflect that the ladies boots are actually youth boy boots and that they do NOT reach anywhere close to your knee. I'll be returning the boots in hopes of finding another pair that are truly "knee" boots.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by wetlandwalker Great boots! Great value!
These boots fit very well. They allow one to tuck pant legs inside the boots, so if there is too deep a puddle, one's pants don't get wet! They can get a little warm in hot weather if worn all day. If you want extra support, you might add padded insoles to the boots. I haven't seen anything better out there in this size range -- and certainly not for the price!

It advises KNEE boots. They come no where near my knees. I can, however, use them for a different reason than I ordered them for, so I will keep them but I am dissapointed. If I was very tall, I could understand why they would seem short, but I am only 5'3".

I bought these boots for doing internship field work with wildlife biologists. If you are going to wear this type of boot for hours on end I would not recommend them for you. They do keep your feet dry but they do not offer any kind of support for your feet and can become uncomfortable. If I was going to need these long term I would buy a different pair, but I was looking for something inexpensive and good enough to keep my feet dry and the ticks of of my legs and they are serving their purpose well.
