Pro Line Gravel Guards
I was leery when I first put them on because they have two narrow strips of velcro on the one side that run parallel to the ground which means that water can flow into the gap between the two strips and potentially blow them open. Well, I got out of the river yesterday after my first use with them and sure enough, one was missing. We'll see if BPS will take it back with one missing but I can understand if they don't.
They should have velcro that runs perpendicular to the ground to keep the water out, seems pretty simple.

They do not work. Wrong materials. Not enough velcro. Won't stretch and impossible to close gap, caused be alot of inconvenience on Christmas Island.

A Real Comfort-Saver
These gravel guards may seem insignificant, but there's nothing more annoying (and easy to get) as rocks in your shoe, especially when wading in streams and creeks. These gravel guards fit over the shoe (kind of like he old gators) and prevent such hazzards of discomfort. A must buy for anyone who wears waders.

Better than nothing
Well they are made like we have stove pipe legs. The Velcro needs to be wider at bottom. Adding a piece is easy but water unsticks it. It needs a sewing on so it stays on. I haven't done this.
