Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product A very good product with a small catch! Battery cords are too short. But they do have extension's you can buy. Five foot extension is $19.99. Another $40 bucks if you need two like I did. Nothing on Bass Pro about the length of cords. November 8, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best This is the third Dual Pro Charger that I've owned, there is nothing better. November 14, 2006
Rated 4 out of 5 by charger I already knew this was a good product. It was very quick and easy to install and use. November 9, 2006
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dual Pro 3 bank S E on board charger This is my second dual pro charger. The first one I had for 12 years. Ichanged it from one boat to another when I traded boats. One bank stoped working so I put the charger in my flatbottom and bought a new Dual Pro 3 bank at Basspro and put in my bass boat. July 20, 2006

Per the manufacturer's FAQ:

Q: I have a 24 volt trolling motor and my two deep cycle trolling batteries are wired in series. Do I have to remove the jumper wire between the batteries when I charge the batteries with my Dual Pro Charger?

A: No, there is no need to remove the series jumper because the Dual Pro consists of two totally independent chargers which share nothing in common. This allows for both batteries to independently but simultaneously charged.

I have a 24 ft boat that stays at the marina on shore power. Does the charger tie into the boats electrical panel or does the charger plug into a electrical outlet on the boat?

It plugs into a 110 then connects to the batteries. I hope that answers your question.

A:
It has a standard 120V male plug like a home outlet so you would need to plug into a standard home 120V outlet. If your boat is hot with 120V then use an on board outlet.

It is a standard 120V system. I think Dual Pro does make 220V chargers though.
