As a beginner I found that the DVD was pretty good. The instruction part helped me a lot because I had no idea what kind of calls to make. This teaches a lot of different duck calls and goose calls, also. The hunting footage is also a pretty good addition to keep you motivated. The call is easy to use except for the "feeding chuckle". It may just be me, but I can't seem to get enough air through it to make it sound good, or sound at all.

This package is absolutely fantastic for the beginner caller. The DVD completely takes the 'mystery' out of exactly what to do - and how. It will teach someone to very adeptly mimic the calls you'll hear from the ducks and geese in the field. It also does a good job of explaining what several of the calls mean and when it's advisable to use them, or not. After watching the goose calling part of the DVD, I took three novice hunters to the field and they called in at least a dozen flocks of snows and specks. Now THAT'S results.... FANTASTIC!
