Rated 5 out of 5Â by bamathug17 Very nice call
I normally don't use a box call, but I ran across this box on discount, and decided to give it a whirl, and I'm thoroughly impressed with it. It sounds just as good as the old woodhaven real hen box my grandad left me, and I love having the two lids, you can go long range or soft and subtle, so it's basically like getting two calls in one. So in my opinion it's worth buying. Happy hunting

I purchased this call this afternoon and so far I am very pleased with it. I tried every box call on display and settled on this on for its outstanding tone and versatility. I have read many articles on turkey calls and choose to try a box call this season as they are easier to use for the beginner and I didn’t have enough time before the opener to get good at a reed call. The box call I am told is just as effective as any other type of call. However, it requires two hands to operate where as a reed call doesn’t allowing you to take aim while in the process of calling in that beautiful gobbler! I hope that this helps in making your purchase. Good luck to all my fellow hunters. I hope you all have a safe and fun season!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by MaleyInc Primos Chick Magnet - good so far
The call sounds good out of the box and I wasn't sure at first how the interchangeable paddle idea was going to work, but the downward force applied by the magnet to the paddle makes for good friction during the entire stroke while playing the call. There is a distinctively different sound from each paddle-top and so far it seems like a good investment. However, the true test will be coming up this spring when Ol' Tom gets to put in his two cents on the subject. For now, this is a definite buy.
