Primos Original Wench Duck Call
Great sounding call
I have used this call for 2 duck seasons and I wanted to share my experiences. I use it on flooded rice fields in south Louisiana. I love the way it sounds, and have used it with a lot of success. It is cheap and good for the price, but mine was only good the first season. This season I had a lot of problems with my call freezing up. It gets bad after about 15 minutes of calling, and it gets worse in cold weather. I do recommend getting this call and, it is cheap enough to get a new one for the next season. Also, I duck hunt a lot and my calls go through a lot of abuse.

Best Call For The Money
I started calling with a primos wench and to this day you will still see one on my lanyard. This is a go-to duck call and very easy to learn. If your just starting out or have been hunting 40 years...this is a great call for you. You can replicate the mallard hen with this call which is a plus. All my buddies get tired of me preaching about this call but they all have hobos, Stick-n-Tones's, and echo's. They will all tell you that the wench is an all around great call. It will never fail no matter what kind of weather you are hunting in.

Pretty Good Call
I bought this call about a year ago and have only had one problem with it, the reeds will freeze up in cold weather. The way i unfreeze it is by doing the hen's "welcome call" a few times or just sticking it in my coat. A nice feature about this call is the tuning pitch hole because it will change the pitch to sound like an older or younger duck (I use this call for mallards). I would recommend this call to a friend if you can keep it warm so it doesn't freeze up.

DIFFICULT TO SOUND GOOD
This was my first call, its LOUD. difficult feeder and not clear. very squeaky. Can't really put the voice into it to change it up. Good to OK for the hail call, not a beginers call and I haven't used it in 2-3 seasons while hunting. But I didn't really know this until I bought other calls that were much better and easier.
