This is a loud, high-pitched call with great sounding excited hen yelps. however, i would consider myself a good turkey caller and i couldn't for the life of me make a descent sounding cluck or purr on this call. that being said, i can use slates and diaphragm for clucks and purrs, while this call produces excellent cutts and yelps. easy call to use, and produces those yelps that get the Toms going when nothing else does.

I was skeptical when I first heard this call because it is very high pitched. Sounded nothing like my other calls at all. On a morning when I heard multiple gobblers and tried everything in my vest and had no response, I said "why not" and broke out this Lil hot box. WOW! immediately had two break off and come charging in to this call. On another hunt, similar circumstance, had a friend with me and after a few yelps, same result. Tom came running in hot! My friend went out that morning and picked one of these up. This call is now my secret weapon in my arsenal of calls. A home run product by primos!

This call is very, very loud for it's size. The only thing that I didn't like is the high-pitched, shrill tone of the call, but that is just a personal preference. Overall, this is a great box call for someone looking for high volume in a very small package.

I never used a box call before so I figured that I would give this one a shot and i'm glad I did. This is very easy to use and it is very loud. I would have given it a 5 but I havn't used it in the field yet. Other than that this is a great call and is very clear. Plus I love the smell of the mohagany!
