Feeder works greats. Easy to use and you can see from a distance when it needs refilled. Yes the varmits will eat the corn or other feed material but I have not seen them dig it all out. The squirrles can not eat the top off which I've had happen on the plastic feeders and it holds up better to the bear problems. It takes a beating but it seems like for the most part, if it has feed in it, the bears will not push it around. Gone through all types of broadcast feeders and all only lasted a short time mainly due to bears but also the squirrls chewing through. I would not use any other style feeder, at least where you have any bear populations.

The feeder does work like they say, easy to use and durable. Although the is no way to keep out varmints. If you have raccoons in your area they will pull all of the feed out of this feeder out onto the ground. I've had four hundred pounds of feed pulled out so far. Primos does not make any varmint accessories for this, so you have to trap all the squirrels and raccoons you can. So far I'm at 2 squirrels and four raccoons in two months. If it wasn't for that I would really like this feeder. HEY PRIMOS!! DEVELOP SOME KIND OF VARMINT PROTECTION FOR THIS FEEDER!!!
