I was turned on to this toy by a bass pro shop employee. My lab puppy (now 9 months) has successfully torn up all his toys but not this one. We purchased it when he was 8 weeks. He carries it around and talks to it constantly. This duck is clearly his best friend. I am buying a back up in case the one we have is ever lost. I think he would be crushed. The best toy ever. A warning though, it has a loud squeaker but the dog loves it so much.

Dog loves them. These for some reason take on a different perspective than a chew toy. Loon carries them around the house like a pal. Fun product and cute, even for a hunting dog..................
These toy's are on my dog's Christmas list!!
Thanks Bass Pro - PS, the shipping cost was very reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nau1980 Emmett's Favorite Toy!
Dad bought the mallard for our Malti-Poo when he was about 3 months old, at the time the only part of the duck he could get in his mouth was the tail. In the 19 months since if either of our other two dogs (a Golden/Shepard mix and an English Springer) come near the duck, Little Emmett tells them who the duck belongs to. Countless hours of fetch, a lost tail and some close calls, tonight the duck finally lost its head, and Emmett pulled out all of his fluff... So no worry another duckie is on its way! Our 3 dogs and my sister's dog (who often comes to visit) DESTROY any other squeeker toy in existance, rubber, fabric, tennis balls you name it....this duck lasted FOREVER!!!! Not to mention at a pet store you'd pay at least twice the price for a toy that woudn't last as long!
