Surprisingly, as this is supposed to be fit for a woman, this fits me identical to how a mens jacket would; tight across my boobs and tenting outwards after. It is also ridiculously loud! The sound is similar to the sound that track pants make, which is most definitely NOT what you want when stalking a deer, especially with a bow!

It doesn't get any better if your looking for a serious hunting jacket made for a women. It is lightweight but warm and intended to be used with base layers. I like the thumb holes in the sleeves that allow me to keep my hands warm without gloves this is essential for bow hunters. The fit is perfect and allows you to sit on stand without all the bulk in the midsection and allows a little extra room for anything you might cary on your belt. And you still look like a woman wearing womans clothing instead of a girl in your dads hunting clothes. It does run a pinch large, if you you want it to be really form fitting get a size smaller. I am 5"10 and size 8-10 and the large was great with a little extra room.

I was very surprised to see the negtive reviews for this jacket, it is by far my favorite hunting jacket I have ever owned. It is not a heavy weight jacket but it was designed to be a good layering piece. Prois's Xtreme jacket and pants are their super warm insulated hunting camo items. I have used this jacket hard for two seasons now and have found it to be extremly durable and functional in the field. It is sized larger for layering but I prefer this because I can use it during all seasons when I layer. I also love the drop pockets for activated handwarmers. I put an activated hand warmer in the pouch located in between my shoulder and in the lower back pocket last elk season when I started getting cold and it warmed me up and kept me hunting. The lower back pocket also serves as a vent when I get hot hiking so I don't constantly have to put on and remove layer or get over heated and sweaty then chilled when I sit still. Furthermore I love the magnetic closures and the many details Prois has added with real hunting woman in mind. My husband is jealous of this jacket and complains contantly that he wishes Prois made men's gear. Prois makes the best, most technical hunting apparel for women I have found and I highly recommend this product to any woman that hunts.

I wore this jacket for my deer hunt in Oct/Nov and it really proved to be everything it promises.
I have to admit I was a bit discouraged when I put it on the first time since it seemed a little big around the midsection (when zipped) but this extra room was -perfect- when I layered the morning of the hunt. It fit all my layers (4 without the jacket) and gave me great mobility. I also chose my size based on layering needs. It also did a great job of blocking the wind. Our hunt was in Arizona and the desert whipped up a lot of sand with high winds the 2nd day. The hood protected my face while I glassed and kept me from getting wind burned. The thumb holes in the sleeves worked great in tandem with my gloves to keep my arms protected and unexposed.
Unfortunately the heat was on for the last day of our hunt. The air was still cold when the breeze blew but the sun was hot. But I was able to get down to my camo t-shirt with the jacket on top and it kept me warm from the breeze but was breathable enough that I did not even break a sweat in the sun.
If I want the jacket to make my body look good, I can put on my waist pack to bring it in.
What I wanted was a jacket that would keep me comfortable and meet my needs during a hunt and I got it.
Temperature ranged from 28-90F.
