I bought these pants for use in deer season in the stand. They are windproof and seem to be waterproof also. I have used them in bad weather feeding my horses. You can cinch them down against your ankles, stuff them inside the muck boots and they puff up over the top enough to seal pretty well. We have not had much rain since I bought them, but I expect them to do fine. I am cold natured and these are wonderful to feel against your skin. I usually wear layers, but so far, I have not needed anything else when I am wearing these. I live in north central Texas, so the winter was not much of a test for them.

I love these pants, they have a nice feminine fit! and they are very comfortable and warm, I am a size 0 and the xs fit me perfect

I love these pants, they are my favorite pants that Prois makes and I have never had any problem with the zipper and I wear these pants a lot. I have also never received a zipper complaint about these pants since working with Prois.
I work for Prois now so you might be worried my opinion biased but I owned these pants well before I worked for them. I would recommend to the other person who submitted a review to send her pants in for a replacement since the zipper broke so quickly. At Prois we stand behind our products and it is important to us that our customers are happy.

I bought these pants for a two week trip in Montana after not finding anything that fit well for a smaller woman. I am about a size 2/4 and a small was perfect. Form fitting enough to wear without layers; stretchy elastic on the waist to fit over up to 3 layers (2 midweight, 1 thin fleece). The fabric was durable and didn't show dirt. The fabric was a little thinner than I thought it would be, but with enough layers, they were warm enough.
I don't know how waterproof the pants are, and would hesitate to solely rely on them in a rainstorm. The zippers are the "waterproof" type with rubber "covers" over the teeth.
My biggest gripe would be the zipper to keep the pants up. It busted about 5 days into the trip and I was not able to fix it.

The material is fairly thick, a little heavier than jeans. They have a thin layer of insulation that is soft like fleece.A:Â
No these are not insulated. Good for fair weather, spring turkey, early deer season when it's not as cold.A:Â
They are insulated, but you still need base layers to keep warm in really cold weather. I found there was enough room to fit a thin scent lok layer and fleece pants, which kept me plenty warm after a few hours on a deer stand.1 of 1
