See the answer from the manufacturer PowerPoleTech, below this response. Also, you only need one anchor per boat. A single Power-Pole anchor will stop and hold boats up to 4500 lbs. in most normal conditions of weather and/or tidal current. Once a single Power-Pole is deployed, the boat will eventually swing to a bow downwind or bow down current much like a weather-vane. However, by adding a second Power-Pole anchor, the effect of wind and current can be overcome, resulting in a much more precise positioning of the boat. Furthermore, the wider the deployment of the two Power-Pole anchors, the better the ability to precisely position the boat. One is always better than none.

Will using two Micro Anchors instead of one increase the anchoring performance on heavier vessels?

Yes; adding a second Micro unit will allow a vessel of any weight to anchor more effectively than it otherwise would have with only one Micro (stop more quickly and hold better in rougher conditions). However, regardless of vessel size, it is not recommended to mount "Dual" Micros (port and starboard) on the back of your vessel if you want to control the twist/direction of your vessel. The best way to control twisting is to use a "Tandem" (bow and stern) setup. For example, you would mount one Micro Anchor to the transom and another Micro to your front (bow) deck. For best results, the front Micro can be mounted anywhere in the front 3rd of your vessel, preferably in a location that interferes the least with your casting habits. In general, the larger the distance between the Tandem Micros, the better the Twist-Control performance will be, regardless of vessel size. Additionally, to avoid tipping the vessel, Tandem setup anchors should be mounted on opposite sides or "cattycorner" to one another.

Yes you can put two micro anchors on one boat. When you purchase 2 micro anchors you will end up with 2 hand held remotes and 2 dash switch style remotes. I would program both dash switch remotes to control both units. I would mount one at the console and the other up front by the trolling motor. On each dash switch remote you can then choose to operate one micro or both micro by simply pushing the selector button on the dash switch. As for the hand held remotes you can program them to operate both micros or have them operate each micro separately.

As for the C-Monster. You do not need to purchase anything. The C-Monster is the control system and software that is built into every Power-Pole anchor. It allows you to run one or two anchors independently or together. You can also adjust the speed of each anchor. You can also log into our C-Monster App and run the anchor by a smart phone plus adjust any settings and perform updates using a smartphone. All included with every Power-Pole anchor.

Yes it will work great for your boat. The micro anchor is rated to stop 1500 lbs. This would include boat, motor, people and gear. Sounds like you will be under the limit.

The mounting bracket has these dimensions 6.20" x 5.60" The issue would be the angle of the transom. The optional clamp only has a 3” bite.
