PowerBelt® AeroLite™ AeroTip™ Bullets are the most advanced muzzleloading bullets ever developed, with all of the benefits of saboted bullets but none of the problems. Like sabots, the PowerBelt Bullet’s patented snap-on base creates a perfect gas seal, providing consistent pressures, optimized spin, and superior accuracy. But unlike sabots, PowerBelt Bullets are full-caliber sized, easier to load, and don’t require cleaning after every shot. The AeroLite™ Series is designed for standard loads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Accurate I own a T/C Impact and I use the 250 grain. It shoots extremely accurate and was well worth the money. A friend recommended these and they are the only bullets I will shoot. Do yourself a favor don't look any further, buy these. March 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by powerbelt aerolite review These have quickly become my favorite bullet for muzzleloading. With 150 grains of white hots and the 300 grain aerolite, my cva acura shoots 1 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yards without swabbing. So far i have shot 2 deer with that load. One was a high shoulder shot and was drt. The other was a running shot that struck the deer way to far back but the kinetic energy transfer spun it around 180 degrees. Due to the accuracy of this combo i made a very easy follow up head shot because the head was the only part i could see. I realise in that circumstance, any bullet would have finished it off but the first rounds massive energy transfer meant it didnt go anywhere even with poor shot placement. So far i have to rate these bullets a solid 5/5 November 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Devastating Just purchased these bullets a few weeks ago and to my surprise they were extremely accurate and easy to load! Shot 1-1/2" groups at the range at 100yds through my CVA Optima with 85grains of Shockey's Gold FFF. Yesterday I hammered a whitetail doe at 125yds through one shoulder and the bullet passed through the ribs on the far side. She piled up in less than 10yds. Despite the mixed reviews, many hunters don't realize that not all powder/bullet combinations will be effective in EVERY rifle. I've been muzzle loading for nearly 35 years and trust me when I say "they can be just as finicky as a center fire rifle". So don't "bash" a product without explaining that it just may not work for your particular application. October 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product I don't use this specific bullet, but I do use the PowerBelt Platinum in 270grain, .50cal. These bullets perform very well at the range and in the field. They are very accurate. They leave large exit wounds that make tracking your deer very easy. Those reviewers that complain of inaccuracy should realize that different bullets, in different guns, may require a different amount of powder to propel them. For my muzzleloader, 100 grains of pellets is perfect, for my buddy, 90 grains works best. If he uses 100 grains of powder, he can't hit the broad side of a barn. January 11, 2012

A:
I had a complete pass through on a whitetail doe at 125yds. Hit the left shoulder and exited through the ribs on the other side. She didn't go 10yds. More accurate than the old 295gr flat tips that I used to shoot.

I use 245gr airotips with 2-50gr pellets (100gr total) and get excellent penetration at 50-75 yds.

I used powerbelts once....and only once. They did not seat in my ML and therefore no compression. They basically dribbled out the end of the barrel. I have great success with Thompson Center bullets.
