Engineered and optimized for marine use, the MRD80i Waterproof Marine Audio System by Poly-Planer is an AM/FM Sirius Satellite ready stereo with an internal docking station for digital music devices like iPod®, MP3 or smartphone devices. Designed specifically for marine environments, the MRD80i Marine Audio System's front and back sides are waterproof to IP66 standards. Flip down the face which features the 2 x 16 character digital display, rotary encoder style volume knob and function select knob to access the internal SD Card reader, USB input to play music from a USB flash drive and the digital music device docking station. The MRD80i Marine Audio System offers selectable powered sub channel output and has a built-in IR receiver (front) and IR input (back) so the unit can interface with Poly-Planer IR speakers. The selectable EQ setup allows users to select best audio setting for particular speakers. Plus, the manufacturer will ship a free MRD80 mount ($29.99 value) with the purchase of a MRD80i Audio System that allows the unit to mount from top or bottom.
