i have used them a couple of times out on the water and they are nice speakers you have to crank them on up to hear them good at fast speeds but i didnt hear much cracking in them even at full volume

I bought these because they would fit where I needed them in the boat w/o cutting large holes for recessed speakers.
They look good and seem to be well built, and are advertised to be 100% waterproof.
The only negative I can say about them is that they are not very loud at all. Unless you are very close to them you won't hear then while the outboard is running.
Since I primarily listen while I'm on the trolling motor not a problem but something to keep is mind if you are considering these.
