Much better than the black rubber rollers. More stable and will not leave black marks on your keel.
They also roll better which makes loading and un loading much easier.

Easy to install, Boat rolls well, looks good and most importantly it does not scuff my boat. Guess it does every thing they say it will so it's worth the few extra bucks.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by My Florida Indian River plate "BYFLY" says it. 3" Super Bow roller (three pieces)
I was very disapointed in this product item. After purchasing the 3 piece bow roller product. A 25 mile round trip to purchase it. And the work of moving the boat while on the trailer, all in order to remove my previous plain bow stop to make an improvement. What do I get for my trouble? A product that is provided with a through bolt that is to short to hold it all together after attempting installation. The bolt was not even long enough to reach the nylon keeper portion of the lock nut. The manufacturer doesn't take in account the trailer arm forks dimension that adds 1/2 inch to the total width of the final assembly. All the others in the store rack had this same length bolt, which appears to be long enough until installation time. I had to make a trip to the local Home Depot for a longer bolt. I didn't buy another nylok nut, trusting the nut from the set would fit. Bad move! It didn't, it was metric. Luckily, I had a S/S nylok nut that would fit the galvanized bolt I purchased. Now I was OK. The set-up was now on the trailer. I winched the boat up to the roller and saw that the roller outside pieces would distort and obviously take a set. I contacted someone that knows about the make-up of rollers and found that these are basically plastic rollers and have no UV protection. They will stick to the hull after a time out in the Sun and become brittle. I'm leaving this product on as I keep the boat in the garage, and will see how things go. I would not buy this product line again!

im looking to replace a bunk bow stop on my 14ft. flat bottom jon boat trailer with a roller(type D), under the winch. will this work and how does it install?Answers

Make sure you are not looking to replace a bow roller which is down low on the trailer. A bow stop is generally up by the winch. It is very easy to replace and even comes with a new bolt. You need to measure between the steel rails where your bow stop is and it needs to be either a 3" or 4".Details:Â
mount. The other is 9 1/2 inches though, and there isn't one listed in the Stoltz rollers that wide. That might work though, but the mount gap is 10 1/4 and the pin is 13 1/2 inches. The thickness of the roller at the keel is about 2 1/2 inches, so the boat will rest on it. The hole for the pin is about 5/8 inch so that should fit. How is the pin secured...pin or something else? Not sure I'm making this clear, but just wnat to make sure they'll fit,Answers

Your choice of 1 1/8" or 3/4". Everything is included but I used the old 'clips' on my trailer since they are galvanized and the ones in the new packages are not (neither are the washers). You get both sizes of washers and there is an insert for the rollers if you need the 3/4" - it all goes on VERY easily as long as your boat is off the trailer. These are YATES rollers sold under the Shipshape name. YATES rollers are original equipment on my 1997 trailer and mine have held up well.1 of 1
