Depends... I have this tackle box and I'll start off with saying that it is very easy to transport. However, you can only really store very small swim baits, most jigs, all the normal weights, hooks, and tiny bobbers. Don't plan on taking any crankbaits or spinners anywhere. Almost all hard-lures are not going to fit in here. I never use this tackle box. ONLY YOU CAN DECIDE IF YOU SHOULD PURCHASE THIS BASED ON WHAT, WHERE, AND HOW YOU FISH!!! June 6, 2012
Great little box We have 2-3 of these and they work great for trout fishing. Hooks and sinkers in one side and spinners in the other. My boys have even used this box to carry worms. We put a snap clip and a length of cord on it and it hangs from a belt loop. June 26, 2011
Not Practical I've had a large Plano utility tackle box for years that was great for long trips where I felt I needed everything in my fishing arsenal. I've reached a point now that hauling this big tackle box around is too much. Especially if I am fishing a small river or farm pond where I have to do some walking. I wanted to downsize to a small soft-shelled bag that I could carry only a few specific lures. I purchased these little stowaway 2-sided tackle boxes for just this purpose. Unfortunately these boxes are just too small to accommodate much of anything other than sinkers, hooks and/or the smallest of lures. If this box was larger and had more depth to the individual compartments then it would be worth buying. There are better plastic utility boxes on the market. This is not a good buy. April 22, 2011
