The three waterproof accerssory boxes, were exactly as shown in the catalog, and they do have the red gasket, to allow them to lock water tight. Definitely excellent for fishermen, in case of accidental droppage.

These are very small but if you have a purpose for waterproof boxes these are great. The one that has no dividers in it is great for bulk hooks; actually I wish I could buy just 3 or 4 of those by themselves. If you label it so you know what size hooks are in it it would be great for keeping up to probably 100 hooks dry and moisture free. The other two are good for just putting some expensive tungsten weights in them if you want to separate those from the rest of your terminal tackle. I use those for that so I don't have to pull out a big box to get one hook or weight out. I think everyone would like them for one thing or another.

These ARE on the small side, but if you're like me and only need them for holding split-shots, hooks, and a few spinners, then they're perfect. The one with no dividers can fit about 80 size 3 tin split-shots, and the 4 compartment one holds a few size 2 Vibrax spinners in each compartment. The 6 compartment one holds plenty of hooks, or swivels. Perfect for storing in your pockets, or in your waders like I do. Very tough locking mechanism as well, it won't pop open from being tossed around like some plastic boxes do.

Are the dimensions provided in the description correct? If not, what are the dimensions of each box?

The description says, "Each box measures: 3.75'' x 2.5'' x 3.25''. " From the picture and the contents, it appears that the depth of each box is no more than .75"

You are correct the depth is around .75" The depth shown in the description is all three together.

the bottom is about that but the total when closed is about 1.5 the bottom is also curved so its an optical illusion1 of 1
