This thing's a beast! Tackle box? More like boom box. You might as well slug it on your shoulder and blast some 80's rap music. I was able to load this up with my gear from THREE old boxes and still had room to spare. The downside to so much space is the added weight. This is especially true on long walks and hikes to my favorite fishing spots. I am a bit concerned about the use of plastic where metal should probably be and about its durability, but after a dozen or so uses this tackle box has held up well. I just hope it doesn't get lost or stolen because 99% of my tackle will disappear, too. May 8, 2013

space space and space this tackle is huge ! a lot of space to but all your lures in from little one to the biggest one good construction but keep it on floor of your boat the hinge are not the best thing on it .If you go fish on a boat good ! but if you dont , mad ! February 8, 2015
Worst Tacklebox Ever I had this tackle box for about week before I took it to the lake... It worked fairly well for the first few hours, considering all that it did was sit on my float tube all day. However, towards the end of the day, I needed to change my lure... so I grabbed the tackle box by the handle and tried to lift it towards me... and that was when the hinges CAME OFF and dumped every single lure and everything into the water... needless to say that I lost a good $350 or more of tackle because Plano cannot make a quality product. I was furious when all this happened, and I threw the now empty tackle box in the trash as soon as I got back to the shore. I later went to replace that horrible tackle box and found out that every single tackle box that is made by Plano, a company who runs a good 99% of the tackle box industry, has these same snap-on hinges... I could buy a $14 Plano box, or a $90+ Plano box and either way I am stuck with a tackle box that is going to dump all my lures in the water on the very first day because of a horrible hinge design. I now refuse to buy ANY product made by Plano because when I buy something, I expect it to do the job that it says it is going to do. After months of searching, I finally found a reasonable tackle box that I would actually recommend to other people and that is the simple Bass Pro Shops® Utility Box and Storage Box. These boxes are extremely durable, They have an excellent latching system and most importantly, they have a STEEL hinge system that CANNOT come undone, and best of all, they cost less than $6 a piece and can compete with the most expensive Plano Boxes. Oh! and the Bass Pro tackle boxes are 100% customizable to fit any size lure. I highly recommend buying the more affordable and more durable Bass Pro Tackle boxes instead of these Plano piles of junk. January 30, 2015
