I own about 10 of these great boxes and to solve the problem of hooks getting caught in the little holes is to order the Bass Pro Shops " Hook Bonnets ". Not only will it prevent the hooks from getting into the holes but it also prevents you from getting jabbed. Just keep the bonnets on until you tie the lure on your line and then remove them and put them into the slot where you got them.

Great product. These Vented tackle box's keep my hooks from rusting when not in use. Couldn't be more pleased with them and I highly recommend them to others.

A bit pricey but hey its PLANO!
Great for lazy anglers who want an easier way to rinse out saltwater after a day of fishing.
Very durable.
Only one draw back is some hooks on smaller lures go through the drain holes. I just tie them up to avoid this.

This new design is fantastic! No more rusty hooks and rusty leaders. Great design concept! I have started replacing all of my boxes with the Hydro-Flo design!
