Rated 5 out of 5 by RGDeL One of the best boxes made The large size allows for considerable storage and the ability to change sizes of compartments makes this highly desirable. Besides the fact that one can change the widths of compartments within the box it is thin which allows more boxes thus more lures in the confined spaces of your bass boat, canoe, Hobie etc.It also allows more storage in portable bags made for the 3700 boxes. The 3700 is 2" and the thinner 1-3/8" box allows you to carry almost double the number of boxes in the same carrier. March 9, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Striperhunter0409 Quality compact storage The compact design of the 3771 allows me to carry more boxes in the rear storage boxes of my 18 ft Tracker Jet. That enables me to carry multiple boxes for a variety of different species and not have to change out tackle before each trip. The compartments are easily adjusted and I like the ability to adjust to individual lures and not fight the problem of tangled hooks. If you're carrying mass quantites, pick a different box. But if you want a compact organized system like me, this is the box you're looking for. April 20, 2010

A:Yes, they are very much alike, except the 3771's are only 1 3/8 inches deep, where as a normal 3700 is 2 inches deep. But, you can put 4 3771's in the same space as 3 3700's!! If your like me, I do NOT like to stack my baits one on top of the other. Especially the expensive ones! The 3771's being shorter in depth, allows me to put more baits in the same space without having to put more than one bait(stacking them) in the same square. There even better for jigs. Just think, how many times do your baits bump the top of the lid on those deep 3700 boxes? For me, never unless your talking BIG MUSKY BAITS. That is why I love the 3771. My old bag fit 6 3700's, but now I have 8 3771's in that bag! My new bag came with 8 3700's, but I put 12 and maybe even 13 3771's in the same space. Isn't that just awesome!
