A great value for the price, the ultra-versatile Plano 758-005 Tackle Box offers plenty of practical tackle storage space. In addition to the four bait racks that are ideal for storing spinnerbaits, this rugged tackle box incorporates a four drawer system and large bulk storage space to accommodate tackle and accessories. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Water Resistant I bought this box because my old tray type box had become too small. I like the way this box allows me to organize and access more tackle in the trays, but for my purposes it has a major flaw. I fish in salt water from a small boat and often get salt spray on my tackle box which I wash off with a spray of fresh water. This box allows water flowing down the front and spray from the side to get into the trays. My old box was always dry. The sad part is that a simple lip on the box frame over the front panel would have prevented most of this problem. May 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I have used this box over 10 Years. I love it! I have a lot of experience with this tackle box. I have used one for over 10 years, maybe even 15 years, it is hard to remember it has been so long. After years of abuse and sunshine, the the top of it has cracked a bit so I replaced it today with a new one. The old one is still working fine, but I was afraid the cracks may give way eventually. I have put it through a lot. It has taken a ton of use and abuse. I have stepped on it so many times I can't count, and no problem (although I would not recommend doing that). I was so happy that the same box was still available! And my new one looks to be exactly the same as my old one! I see absolutely no difference between my new one and my one purchased over 10 to 15 years ago. Plano rocks! I love the design. I can carry many different kinds of baits in one box, and I still have plenty of room for accessories like my digital scales, clippers, etc. And on top of it all, it does not take up a lot of room in my boat. I have attached a picture with my old box next to my new box. Take my advice, buy one! May 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tackle box I was able to merge three boxes into one with this great product, a plastic worm box, a spinner bait box, and a 2 tray box. This had room left over and actually takes up less space than the others combined. February 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by good storage box This box is great for storage at home but not on the water. Too bulky but a lot of space. I use it for saltwater. January 7, 2013

It may be possible to get the drawers out. It is not designed to have them removed. I do not see a way to remove them.

The rack type box would give more flexibility as you can replace the drawer type boxes with different configurations to suit your needs.
