GREAT i bought this for my buddy who just finished his tour and needed some fishing stuff i chose this one of these after i had to original (seen in the pictures). it exceeded his expectations. It got knocked in to the water by his girlfriend's dog and he was able to retrieve it because it stayed afloat long enough for him to hook it and bring it back inside the boat September 28, 2010
I have used this box over 10 Years. I love it! I have a lot of experience with this tackle box. I have used one for over 10 years, maybe even 15 years, it is hard to remember it has been so long. After years of abuse and sunshine, the the top of it has cracked a bit so I replaced it today with a new one. The old one is still working fine, but I was afraid the cracks may give way eventually. I have put it through a lot. It has taken a ton of use and abuse. I have stepped on it so many times I can't count, and no problem (although I would not recommend doing that). I was so happy that the same box was still available! And my new one looks to be exactly the same as my old one! I see absolutely no difference between my new one and my one purchased over 10 to 15 years ago. Plano rocks! I love the design. I can carry many different kinds of baits in one box, and I still have plenty of room for accessories like my digital scales, clippers, etc. And on top of it all, it does not take up a lot of room in my boat. I have attached a picture with my old box next to my new box. Take my advice, buy one! May 9, 2014
GREAT TACKLE BOX I'VE USED THIS TACKLE BOX FOR YEARS, I PERSONALLY LIKE A DRAWER TYPE BOXE BETTER THAN THE PLASTIC INSERT BOXES, IT;S QUICKER TO GET YOU PLUGS OE GEAR YOU CAN OPEN A DRAWER AT A TIME AND LOOK YOUR WHOLE SELECTION OVER. EASY TO ORGANIZE AND TO KEEP CLEAN. JUST A GREAT BOX FOR THE FISHERMAN THAT NEEDS LOTS OF ROOM, BOX ALSO HAS HOLDERS INTOP FOR SPINNER BAIT RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS. ALSO IN THE TOP HAS PLEANTY OF ASTORAGE FOR YOUR NEEDLE NOSE PLEIRS OR SEVERAL SPOOLS OF LINE.. USED THIS BOX FOR YEARS September 30, 2006
This is a GREAT tackle box. This tackle box is great! I have had mine for a long time, and I'm sure I'll use it for years to come. There is so much room in it. The top has a large area for tools, sunglasses, extra line, spare spools , and much more. The spinnerbait rack is great . It can hold over 40 spinnerbaits. There is a whole bunch of room in the drawers too. I may not have to buy another tackle box ever. March 31, 2009

It may be possible to get the drawers out. It is not designed to have them removed. I do not see a way to remove them.

The rack type box would give more flexibility as you can replace the drawer type boxes with different configurations to suit your needs.
