Perfect for ice, shore and pier anglers, Plano's 725 Bucket Top StowAway Organizer fits on top of standard 5-gallon buckets to create convenient storage from what would otherwise be wasted space. Designed with two levels of storage, the top level has two, six-compartment tackle trays ideal for weights, bobbers and other tackle. Remove the top storage tray to reveal a larger bulk storage space with a cut-out detail that when removed provides access to the interior of the bucket allowing the 725 Bucket Top StowAway to be used as a live bait bucket, too. Size: 12''L x 12''W x 3.75''H.

How many times have you carried a bucket of bait to the end of a jetty or pier only to find their is nowhere to sit? Here is the solution for the serious fisherman. I purchased this one and the Eliminator 5-Gallon Bucket Lid. Both have good and poor aspects. This one is stronger but has no reach through. The lid is difficult to take off each time you want to get bait, especially on a canoe or kayak.

I received this as a Christmas gift this year and it has made organizing my ice fishing gear easy! The top stays closed while hauling it out on the ice yet is still easy to open. I don't have to dig around looking for gear now since it's all right there on top and visible. I use this along with the bucket wrap and can store my Frabill round tip-ups inside. Almost all the gear I need in one bucket! However, I do not recommend sitting on it since it attaches to the bucket quite snuggly and this makes it very difficult to remove, especially in cold weather. Highly recommend - great idea!

The Plano 725 is a great organizer. I plan on getting one for both freshwater and saltwater. You could set on it if you had to. Great idea if you don't want to carry your complete collection in a bag. Works get at the shore, dock and on a boat. Do you really need your fishing bag all the time. Get idea if you want to carry in the trunk of your car in case you want to go fishing on the spot.

I cannot comment on how much weight it can take but I would not recommend sitting on this item simply because it attaches quite snuggly to the bucket and this makes it very hard to remove if you're storing other items inside, especially in cold weather. I like to store my round Frabill tip-ups inside plus use the Frabill bucket wrap organizer.
This product is a wrap-around product that will fasten to your bucket (you provide the bucket). There is no top unless you snap on a bucket lid. However, if you store poles in the pockets, they will extend above the top level of the pail, so you wouldn't be able to sit on it.
