The traditional 2-tray styling of the Plano 6102 Tackle Box keeps all your tackle organized. The wormproof compartments in the two trays are big enough to hold lures and terminal tackle, while the large bulk storage compartment below holds tools, leader wheels, or extra spools. Made from heavy-duty materials, the brass bail latch holds securely preventing spills.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by JoshA A Good, Basic Tackle Box
I was given this tackle box as a gift last Christmas, and it has been excellent so far. The two trays have plenty of space for my hooks, weights, swivels, and lures, while the deep well storage below it great for holding the misc. things that I keep there, like pliers, an extra spool or two of flurocarbon, and my container of Gulp shrimp softbaits.
As other reviewers have pointed out, the top of the box can come off rather easy, so be careful when carrying the box, as I have found that too much jarring can lead to the contents being spilled all over the ground when the lid comes off.
All in all, a great little box, perfect for day trips out to the water.

Use these for "stat" med boxes. Really durable and long lasting.

This tackle box is great. Its two tray design is able to hold a good amount and there is a larger space underneath when the trays extend out. It's simple, gets the job done and looks nice too.

I have had this box for years and as my tackle has grown this box has moved on to being my kayak box. It has been perfect for the kayak. Just the right size to fit in the boat and hold everything I need for the trip! I do agree with some other reviewers that in the summer heat the top and bottom will separate due to the flimsy plastic hinges but it's really no big deal to put back together. I'm sure I would see this as more of a problem if I had spilled all my tackle or something but it hasn't happen yet.
