Plano's Guide Series StowAway 4600 tackle box is great for the angler who needs a little more storage in a small, compact area. The Guide Series StowAway 4600 features a unique two tier design which provides lots of storage with separate latches to open each compartment independently. Plus, its removable dividers allow you to customize and create 11 to 30 compartments. Dimensions: 10-7/8" x 7-1/2" x 2-3/4".

Similar to the 4600, the Plano Guide Series StowAway 4700 tackle box features a two tier design with independent latches to allow for access to either storage space. With enough room for 13 to 54 storage spaces, this tackle box is a great option for anglers who enjoy a compact box with loads of versatility. Dimensions: 14" x 9" x 2-3/4".

Like A Double Decker Tour Bus The compact dimensions allow me to fish waters which require backpacking in order to get there. Well constructed with good capacity and moveable dividers suit my needs. Two tiers mean I can prioritize the top level for the most often used lures. Carries enough well selected lures for a traveling outfit. I'll probably add smaller Planos to store specialty items which can fit into the smaller spaces of my pack. This item exhibits the usual high quality of Plano products. My box arrived with very minor damage. One of the corner struts which allow the box to stand upright on flat surfaces was broken off. I never use my tackle boxes when fishing in that orientation anyway, so it's a non-critical part. November 7, 2014
My favorite utility box Of the dozen boxes I have, this is my favorite because it can accommodate all of my terminal tackle in a single, convenient box. June 7, 2013
Crankbait storage at its best This is one of the best purchases I have made in regards to tackle storage. With this box i was able to condense 3-3600 series boxes all in to this one box and still have room for tons of lures. I would say currently my box has anywhere from 40-50 hardbaits (crankbaits, topwater, jerkbaits). I do have the 4700 and I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting a box in which they can hold all of their hardbaits. April 11, 2013
great utility box i love these boxes!! I can finally organize all my cranks. I am ordering a couple more for all my topwaters now. March 29, 2013

I use them for my hard bait lures and find that the tinting protects their finishes and vibrant colors even while sitting on the casting deck in full sun all day. I don't store any rubber worms in it but I do store several Yum Dancin' Eel lures in the bottom section with no ill affects.

I really don't think so...so far all lures that I have stored in the tackle box are solid.

Of course you can, they were made for that purpose. I store about 100 lures in 4700 model.

The top is smoked colored so the sun does not effect the contents from what I can tell. I suppose if you left it in direct sunlight for a long period of time the plastics might get a little sticky.
