Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Stuff used this while shooting Grate Cormorant in winter condition and beating waves on the west coast of Iceland. Kept my shells dry and easily accessible. Highly recommended. March 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ammo Can An inexpensive way to segregate guns from ammo in a house with kids. All you need is a small kid-proof lock for the can. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for the price I use these containers for hunting and range ammo. They will easily hold about 400 rounds of rifle ammo or 1,000+ rounds of handgun ammo. They are light, strong, stackable, and water-resistant. February 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great ammo box for price The Plano "Ammo Can" is a well-made plastic ammo can for the price. This ammo can is sturdy, has an ergonomic handle so it's comfortable to carry and it has a cool quick-access compartment built into the top of the lid. You really can't go wrong with this item. I have two and will be ordering more. I use one of them for ammo and shooting supplies. The other one I use for knife storage (keep away from my kids). I uploaded a photo of my shooting, ammo can. I have two of them, the answer is no. The lack of a seal makes them unacceptable for my intended use. They take on water quickly if on their side in water.

A:
No, it does not. Upper lid covers the top of the box so water will not drain inside. Not waterproof.

No it does not, but easy fix is getting thin rubber weather stripping at a hardware store or department store. Don't do if it was luck, but my son dropped mine in the water and nothing got wet. I put a seal in anyway after that just to be on the safe sid. I love this can.
