Awesome Buy! I own 12 of these ammo cans! I love how organized my ammo shelves are now. The description says you can fit 6 boxes of 2 3/4" shells. If you are a little creative you can fit 12. I'm comfortable with up to 1500 rounds of loose 9mm per box. December 21, 2014
Piano Ammo Cans Items were exactly what I expected to receive. very satisfied with the products. November 1, 2014
nice can holds plenty and light good for keeping your ammo secure. August 4, 2014
Good for price Product was exactly as advertised - does not come with a rubberized seal, but I store my ammo inside my house in these containers and so humidity doesn't really affect my ammo. July 1, 2014

I have two of them, the answer is no. The lack of a seal makes them unacceptable for my intended use. They take on water quickly if on their side in water.

A:
No, it does not. Upper lid covers the top of the box so water will not drain inside. Not waterproof.

No it does not, but easy fix is getting thin rubber weather stripping at a hardware store or department store. Don't do if it was luck, but my son dropped mine in the water and nothing got wet. I put a seal in anyway after that just to be on the safe sid. I love this can.
