This is a great ammo can. There is lots of room for storage and it is bigger than the usual green GI ammo cans. It does not come with a rubber seal but you can request one from Plano and they will send it for free.

Description indicated the cans are waterproof. Neither of the two cans I have have a seal between the body and the lid, and both take on water if placed in water. Long sides flex when the lid is either open or closed so I am concerned abut the longevity of the life of the boxes. I bought the boxes to put my first aid supplies, tools and documents in to protect them in a marine environment. I'll use the boxes to carry ammo to the range, and will look for another product for use on my boats.

This a great ammo can, I like the compartments on top. I can fit a lot of .45acp ammo boxes in it. I like the fact that you can put a lock on it. I plan to buy more now that I got one and checked it out.

This is a good ammo box for the price that you pay for it, but the downside is tehre is no rubber seal to the lid.
I think that it should have a rubber seal just for prolonged storage in climates that may not be ideal for ammo.

I have two of them, the answer is no. The lack of a seal makes them unacceptable for my intended use. They take on water quickly if on their side in water.A:
No it does not have a rubber seal.A:
No rubber seal. Got 3 so far and none had the rubber seal on them.A:
No it doesn't have one.A:
This box does not come with the rubber gasket. You can order one from Plano.A:
No, it does not. Upper lid covers the top of the box so water will not drain inside. Not waterproof.A:
yes mine did.A:
Yes. Not big, but a seal on lid.A:
No it does not, but easy fix is getting thin rubber weather stripping at a hardware store or department store. Don't do if it was luck, but my son dropped mine in the water and nothing got wet. I put a seal in anyway after that just to be on the safe sid. I love this can.1 of 1
