My Dad has had a tackle box like this for 25 years. He finally had to get rid of it after it broke at the hinge. I'm going to get him another one for his birthday.

I have had this tackle box for 22 years. It is awsome!! It's so old that it has the smoke tinted lid on it. It is still a great box, but its time to pass it down to my boy so he can start his own collection of lures in it. I'm getting the next size up, the Plano® 44 Magnum. Hopfuly it will give me many years of serves.

I had a 1258 box for 14 years and the lid finally cracked at the hinge, heavily used and knocked around. It was the blue color guide series box and this Bill Dance series is exactly the same. These last a long time, longer if you take care of them. Great box for crappie fishing with the seven 2500 small boxes you can get for the bottom.

On the left half of the bottom, there are slots to insert your worm boxes. The slots are moulded into the box and would be hard to carve out.On the right half of the bottom, there are removable spinnerbait type partitions. You can pull the partitions out, and you can put whatever you can get to fit into that space.
