fantastic reel i have been using a trion spinning for a couple of years with no issues best reel I have ever purchased. just picked up this new combo and I love it just as much. October 12, 2014
Great quality for the price I recieved this reel as a gift and I have used it to catch many, many fish. Also a few snapping turtles. It has an amazing drag system on it and the 7 ball bearing system makes it feel absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone! September 8, 2014
Great Panfish Combo! I bought the Ultralight Combo and could not be happier. Using 4# line, casts light lures a long way. Have caught numerous bluegills, some "bulls" and this rig has been efficient and fun. I highly recommend it. September 18, 2014

A:
All Spinning reels are righ/left retrieve. You change the retrieve by unscrewing the cap on the opposite of the handel and move the handle to the other side and screw the cap back on.

did you check on the bottom of the reel? there is a little switch that you can flick back and forth to make it anti reverse on most reels.

A:
I have used the old trion.
I don't remember if u unscrew the handle itself or the cap on the other side.

If the new one is like the old one of these two methods should fix it.

1). there is a cap on the other side of the reel from the handle, unscrew it. If there is a screw attached to it then unscrew it and the handle should come off. Then you just reverse the process to put it back on on the other side.

2). Unscrew the cap i mentioned earlier and if it is just a little cap with no screw coming out of it than turn the handle backwards and it should come off. Reverse the process to put it back on.

remember. Don't turn the handle backwards very hard. If that is not the correct method you might break the reel.

Good Luck
