Rated 5 out of 5 by the best for the price i bought this reel last season and used it on almost every time i went fishing. top quality materials and is extremely smooth functioning. I highly recomend this to anyone February 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Purchase Ever this thing is silky smooth and will cast 50yards with out a dought. i use this for my buzzbait and top water reel. but u can throw a crankbait or anything. just wish they had a 6:4:1 gear ratio January 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Reel For the Cash I bought this reel in the spring, and have been using it all summer, multiple times a week. I love it. It casts smooth, has a great retrieve, and is useful for cranks and senkos. Only downside from my perspective is its profile. Although it is suppose to be a low-profile I find it bulky in my hands. As for the braking system I feel it works well, although I was apprehensive towards a centrifugal system. You can turn off the brakes in the system easily, with little effort to accommodate your casting style. Worth the money. Good Buy. August 3, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Small problem. I liked the reel. I never had a problem getting a fish out of cover or to the boat. I used the reel for one summer and now the level winder is broken. It refuses to move off of the left side. I have a friend who bought the same reel and he's now having the same problem with his Cetina. July 24, 2011

A fellow customer waiting to buy one of the cetinas showed me on their display one how you could free spool and spin the cetina and any other reel and the cetina would free spin almost twice as long as all the others, its smoothness is hard to explain once on the water. I wont buy anything less,... learned my lesson. Want the best........here it is, in my opinion.

Megaforce is the lowest end Daiwa baitcaster. I had to chose between the megaforce and the Pflueger Echelon. Chose the Pflueger and ended up returning it and getting the Pflueger Cetina. Do yourself a favor and get the Cetina or even a Shimano Citica. The Echelon backlashed like crazy but the Cetina never backlashed once. If you're on a budget like I am then get the Citica and you won't be disappointed.
