Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Reel This seems to be a very smoothe reel, I have the same reel in a Shakespere, but this one seems to be better and pickes up 4# line very well, and does a good job of casting the line also, I would recommend spending the few extra dollars and get this reel, I dont think you will be dissapointed September 14, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Will Not Last I used this reel for one season on crappie and it performed flawlessly. I also caught bass up to 3# while fishing for crappie with no problems. The drag worked fine. I respooled with new 4# line and it will not consistently pick up the line. I tried 6# with the same results. The line stud is apparently defective. I trashed the reel after one year. July 8, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pflueger Microspin Ultralite Great reel. Money well spent and a good price. Would encourage friends to get one just like it. Great for trout fishing. The 4 bearings make for a smooth cast and reeling. Small and light. Can't beat the workmanship for the value. April 13, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by ok i love pflueger products and this is another but with all closed face reels you never know if it could get hung up July 11, 2009

Yes..
But it requires a flat screwdriver.. It is wide enough that you can use a key etc.. I am a lefty myself. It does not convert as quickly as some of my other reels, but yes.. It does.

Yes it actually is very simple. You loosen the screw all the way off on the opposite side of the handle. you can pull the handle out and change it to the other side and put screw on again opposite the handle . While you change sides it will be an excellant time to add a drop of fishing reel oil to the bearing that is exposed when you remove the handle. Good luck.
