Enjoy longer battery life and better performance from a lightweight headlamp with the Reactive Lighting technology found in the Petzl NAO Rechargeable LED Headlamp.  Requiring fewer manual adjustments, the NAO uses a built-in sensor that detects the ambient lighting and distance of objects in field of view to adjust the width and power of its beam to match the situation. This instant and automatic adapting provides greater comfort for the user and extends the life of the NAO's Li-Ion rechargeable battery, optimizing its energy. This innovative headlamp offers two modes, continuous and Reactive Lighting, to provide the lighting you need from its two two high-powered LEDs (up to 355 lumens). The headlamp's multifunction on/off switch can be locked to stay off when stored. The Zephyr adjustable headband keeps the NAO stable while in use and comes with an extra top strap for technical activities. Lightweight 187g. Comes with USB charger. Also runs off of two AAA batteries (not included). Water resistance meets IP X4 rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good light The lamp on this is AMAZING, My only wish was that I could have it light up to its full potential without having to put my finger over the top sensor portion. See the thing about this light is it has a self adjusting light that will not go to full power unless it is pitch black. If you want the full lumens you have to put tape or something over the sensor. Other than that I love this light. December 20, 2012
