We have three dogs. A standard poodle, a lab and a 12 week labradoodle puppy. We have a fence between our neighbors property and the two oldest dogs had made a game of who could run to the fence first and when they got there they usually started barking for one reason or another (usually at the neighbors or their animals). We got this device two weeks ago and hung it on the fence. The poodle stopped immediately, but it only slightly distracted the lab from barking. Since the poodle is more sensitive than the lab (she can be a drama queen) I think she respects it because she doesn't like the discomfort. As for the Lab, he just has a higher tolerance. At this point we are going to get a high quality bark collar for him and see how that works. I'll keep you posted.

I have a fairly small kennel in a large neighborhood. Figured one of these at either end would surely get my dogs' attention. According to the manual they are working properly. The dogs just think they're cute!

while it work well in a close proximity, your would have to live very close to your neighbor for it to work as advertised
