I recently went catfishing in the Gulf of Mexico and found myself pulled underwater with a freshwater reel in my hands. Low and behold, a little Penn Reel Cleaner and scouring pad turned a would be bad situation into an even better, smoother running reel than before. As a user of this product I spray the entire rod and reel and have not had any negative effects."
