Perfect for fly tiers on the go, this sturdy Pedestal Base allows tiers to convert their stationary C-clamp vise into a travel vise. No matter where you choose to tie whether it is streamside, on a tail gate, in camp on your lap or in a motel, the sturdy, compact base is designed for travel and accommodates most vises with a 5/8” or less diameter stem. Pedestal Base measures: 3-1/2” x 5”.

Fly tying vise base After having stripped the threads on my old vise base I went searching for a reasonably priced base on the internet. I never thought that I would find one for such a low price at basspro.com. The base is built solidly and the set-screw has good threads. The base can except fairly large diameter vises and is heavy enough to stay put. May 4, 2011
Pedestal Base Bought this base because my Danvise only had a C-clamp. Seems to be a nice base. I like that it can fit a wide range of stem diameters. Comes it a package packed with grease, but it cleans off rather easily with a paper towel. October 7, 2010

A:
It should. It seems to be of universal dimensions for the rod that the vise mounts too.
