I purchased this a little over a year ago. I have been tying for a little over 3 years now, and thrilled at the performance of this vise. I have contacted their customer service regarding a clamping issue I had with it, and they responded in a reasonable amount of time. They treated me as a home-town merchant would treat a customer. It wound up that there was some hair caught in the clamp mechanism - Cleared the hair, good as new.
Tied a few size 20 midges with the included vise grip, but would recommend their midge head. All in all a great product!

I purchased the vise today. After taking back the fly tying kit I purchased first. You get what you pay for. This vise is so easy to use!!! Even a novice like myself can make a fly worthy of a fly box. Save alot of time and wasted effort. If you want to enjoy fly tying buy this and start amazing yourself with what you can do with the vise a a little information.
