I used to buy these egg holders many years ago, they were metal with a strong flip lid. Over the years I lost mine and recently started fishing again. No bait shops in my area had them. I was told a guy in New England made these and passed away a few years ago. After searching the net I was so happy to find the egg lug at Bass Pro! I tested the egg lug out and it works perfectly.
