I hunt with a 30-30 that kicks like a mule because there is no padding to absorb the recoil. Anticipation of the kick has caused a "flinch" in my shooting. After using this pad, my shooting is more accurate and the flinching habit is nearly gone. I hightly recommend this product for those that want a more accurate shooting pattern.

I bought this recoil pad for my wife to shoot with a 12 gauge shot gun for turkeys. She killed her first turkey with it and practiced shooting the shot gun with it also. She weighs 120 lbs and shot a 3 inch magnum numder 4 turkey round with no problems. I have used it on a 3.5 inch 12 gauge shot gun, 50 caliber muzzleloader, and my 300 wsm, It absorbs at least 1/2 of the total recoil.
I shot a box of 300 wsm shells with it on and didn't even get a small bruise. It allows you to shoot consistently with out flinching. I highly recomend this product.
