by Mick223 Great bow!!!
I've shot a couple, but this is the first I've owned. Put that into reference... But I think this bow is great.
The speed is awesome and it's not loud. I swear the arrow hitting the target is louder than the release. At at 1/3 the speed of sound, I'm not sure it matters much!
Accuracy with field points is amazing. 5 shots to sight in at 20yds and I can hold a group with touching fletch at 30 yds off hand no problem.
The scope is range-calibrated for this bow out to 60 yds. With field points, I can hold one at each range in a 3" group....sitting at that range. The bow is far more consistent than I am, and the scope is right on target if you know the range.
Broadheads are not as consistent, and all are not created equal. Do your homework! The bolts are shorter with small fletch and have less room for differences, like warped or torn fletch or bad blade alignment. The first fixed blades I tried were 6" group, 4" low and right at 30 yds! I settled in on swing-blade designed heads that give 3" group at 50 yds, only an inch lower than field points. As best I can tell, there is no way to tune this out of the bow, but it's consistent with these heads. Do not assume the broadheads are as consistent... Pattern them!
