I purchase this bow for my son. Two things caught my attention, the Hostage arrow rest and drawing the bow. The rest is made of plastic and feels like it will break after a few shots. I had a extra Whisker Biscuit that I swapped rests. The draw is harsh for kids and I was surprised by it. I was hoping for a smoother drawing bow for kids. This feels more suited for young adults with more experience than for someone starting out in archery.

Haven't gone hunting with it yet, but i've shot atleast 1000 arrows from it at ranges of 10 yards to 35 yards. Seems pretty solid. Its a good bow to start with if you're just getting into bowhunting, but also is good for intermediate bowhunters. Since its a parker, when you or your kids out grow it, you can send it back to them and for $50, they rig it out to your specifications, like if you want a longer drawback, etc. Anyways, good bow for the price
