Rated 5 out of 5 by km9e Best shakey head on market Saw these on the shelf at Cincinnati & picked up a few packs. Over past month, it has become my ABSOLUTE go-to bait. Extremely sharp hook. Put just about any soft plastic, throw them to dock posts or off deep ledges, stay in contact with the bait ..... then hang on. Took me 7-8 years to break 5Lb lgmouth. Caught three in last two years. Just this week, with this lure, have caught over 200 lgmouth, including 6.5, 5.9 had a 16.53 lb 4hr tourney sack for 3rd place finish. DON'T leave home without them! May 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by ilikefish bigger hooks! this shakey head worked great for river smallies using small beaver-type baits. the hook is strong but needs to be offered in a 3/0 size IMO. i like to have the option to switch plastics without tying on another jig head but the bps tiny beaver (when they were available) was about the only lure i was comfortable with because of the small bite you get with this small hook. the jig did what it was suppose to do... it stood up well, didn't hang up much in river conditions and i had a great hook up to catch ratio. if they offered a larger hook, i would buy many many more and would be my all around choice for shakey heads. until then, i will be looking elsewhere for 5 stars. the sweet shakey has its place in the tackle box... but they must be for very specific lures and fish. i wouldn't recommend for largemouth bass. Rated 4 out of 5 by JLKelly shakey head jig This jig head held the worms in place through out the day. It didn't matter if I was pitching them into cover or fishing them in 25' of water, the worm never came off. October 19, 2010
