Rated 5 out of 5Â by Magpie A long time coming
Yesterday I went to the Bass Pro Shop in Perrysburg, Ohio. I bought a PSE Stinger Skull Works and I am in love with this bow. I have waited a long time and did my research. Mark in the Archery department was so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I am a girl and he didn't make me feel like I was weird for wanting and awesome bow. Thank you so much and hopefully soon I will be splitting some arrows.

I received this bow as a Christmas gift and I have enjoyed it ever since, it is well balanced and very quiet when shooting. I am very new to archery and feel that this is the perfect bow for me. I intend to enjoy the use of this bow for many years.

I purchased this bow two months before bow season started in Arkansas. When I got it I put a new zebra string and a cable guard on it. From there I put a black gold 4-pin sight, limb saver stabilizer, g5 1/4" peep sight, limb saver string dampeners, qad drop away rest, and a kwikee quiver on it. Overall I am satisfied with this bow. opening weekend I shot a basket rack eight point with it (15" wide) at 20 yards. In conclusion, I would recommend this bow to anybody wanting a bow that will be accurate, reliable, and affordable.

I purchased this bow from the Bass Pro Shop in Hampton Virginia on 11-16-2012. They did not have a package in the black color so Chris in the Archery department helped me select sights, an arrow rest, etc. During the setup of the bow, Chris took the time to explain all of the aspects of the bow, why he was tuning items a certain way, provided answers to my questions and provided many options to me that allowed the bow to be tuned to me. He did a fantastic job of doing just that.
Afterwards, we went into the range and I shot only a total of 6-arrows. The first 3 were from the 10-yard line and all 3 were within a circle within the bull's eye that he could encircle with his middle finger touching his thumb...about the size of a Silver Dollar.
The next 3 were shot from the 15-yard. 2 were in the bull's eye and one was to the left of the first 2. The grouping was about twice the size of a silver dollar. This was great as this is the first time that I shot a bow in 35 years. I atttribute this accuracy to the great job that Chris did setting up the bow and my desire to not be embarrassed by NOT hitting the bull's eye.
I do not hunt and will use this for target practice. I look forward to tuning the sights for 50, 75 and 100 yards.
This bow is fairly light, very quiet, easy to hold and is comfortable to shoot. I did a lot of reading about this bow before I went in to look at it. I asked questions about this bow and it came highly recommended. My thanks go out to Chris and Jacob in the Archery department.

your age really doesn't matter, but considering your height I'd say so. I'm 5'9" and this is my first bow ever, & I'm LOVIN IT!!!! Only thing you need to determine is if you can at least pull back 50 lbs. If you can do that, once you get your draw length & set your poundage, your pretty much set. The draw for me isn't a problem but for some it can be so make sure you are comfortable with a single cam draw cycle, btw the draw is CRAZY smooth.Answers

Pretty sure this is not possible, more than likely the lesser weight's fps has been beefed up by the manufacturer to look better on paper. It may say the IBO speed is 312 fps at 60 and 70 lbs. for example, but kinetic energy just doesn't work this way, they may as well have change arrow weight when shooting less lbs, but i can assure you 10 plus lbs. = faster arrow1 of 1
