PSE Archery Sequoia Longbow
50 lb sequoia longbow
I have had this bow for around a year now, shot hundreds of arrows through it and it has been perfect for me. I got it at the bass pro store in Clarksville, In. It didn't come with any kind of arrow rest material so I had to make one out of Velcro. The string they gave me for it had the center serving that was dead center of the string and the bow rest is higher then center of the bow by a good bit, so the string was un-useable. I ordered a custom made Flemish fast flight type string to replace the one they gave me which was Dacron, so I was going to replace it anyhow. (only $12 from a custom on-line string shop). Back to the bow, I had some string smacking the wrest at first, but as adjusted the brace height, that went away. I ended up with a 7 1/4 inch brace height. The bow is smooth, as easy to pull back as my 40 lb recurve and dead accurate. No hand shock and it's quiet. I love this bow. The finish looks good, but not fantastic. It is a very light weight bow to carry around and that's one of the best things I like about it. I haven't had any checking or cracks in the bow like a lot of posters said about theirs, so I lucked out and got a good one, or mostly only the upset folks do the reviews. I'm glad I didn't read any bad reviews before I bought this bow or I would not have gotten it and really missed out on a very sweet bow. Get one, you will like it. I also own three other Bear brand recurve bows and have no problems with them either.

PSE Sequioa 55# @ 28"
I have been shooting a few dozen arrows each day for the past week and a half and I have to say this bow is very fun to shoot. It is quiet, fast and feels good in my hand. I have however noticed that the lamination or sealant they coat the limbs with has cracked in multiple places. This does not look like it will compromise the structural integrity of the bow but it was a suprise to see the cracks so quickly. I am shooting Easton Legacy 2016 arrows with 5" feather right helical fletching.

Had mine for a little over a month. It had a lot of hand shock initially, but limbsavers cured that. I have enjoyed shooting it and look forward to hunting with it next season.
