This was the first compound bow I've purchased I did a lot of research before I bought one and I was stuck between the brute x and stinger 3G. but after holding them both and comparing side by side I went with the brute and very happy I did I liked the look and feel of the split limbs and MP cams over the stinger. I started with the stock set up and blackout x5 arrows which worked very well together but have since upgraded everything on the bow with trophy ridge accessories and carbon express blue streak arrows it shoots much better and faster now about the only problems I've had with the bow was screws on the cam came loose and the peep never wants to stay aligned perfectly but besides those minor things its a top notch bow iill definitely be considering another pse when I upgrade in a few years

Bought as my first bow. 100% pleased with bow. Still use quiver it came with, very sturdy, replaced sight with HHA single pin adjustable. Great bow for money. Fast and accurate. Would buy again. Have owned for about 6 months and still as pleased as day I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 PSE Brute X Skullworks
After not hunting for 15 years I started back this year. I cannot hunt with a rifle behind my house but, I can bow, slug, or muzzleloader hunt. I decided to get a bow. I have never bow hunted but, shot a bow about 20 years ago. After shooting the PSE Brute X I knew I wanted it. I really liked the Skullworks camo so, I picked up the RTS setup.
I got my first pin sighted in but, never had a chance to get my others due to time restraints as I work and go to school full time. I bought Blackout X5 Envy arrows, Rage tips, and a TRU Release.
New Years Eve I shot my first deer in 15 years with this setup, a buck no less. This bow is very quiet, easy to use, very accurate, and very fast. I shot off the 2nd pin due to distance and even without sighting it in, it was spot on for my distance. No treestand was used either.
A friend who has a much more expensive Diamond Setup was amazed when he shot the bow. I cannot wait for next season and time to scout some places instead of winging it like I did this year.

I bought this bow to replace an older PSE that I had handed down to a friend. It really is a great bow and shoots quiet and the draws smooth. I used a few accessories off my old bow to replace some of the accessories that came on it, but overall it really is a great bow for the money. I've already taken 2 deer so far this year so practice makes perfect!

Yes. The guys at bp archery counter will retie it or adjust it if needed also. It comes with a red d loop and they put a black one on for me at no charge, took 5 min.
