I tried P-Line about 4 yrs ago and was absolutely amazed. I have used just about every brand of line out there and there is no doubt in my mind, none of them can compete. My first real experience that convinced me was when I accidently snagged my crankbait on a log. After realizing that I was going to have to break my line, I started pulling about as hard as I possibly could. Finally, after a frustrating struggle that soon turned humorous to me and my two friends I was fishing with, my line went slack. I started to reel in to tie on another crankbait and I began feeling that familiar vibration in my rod and I thought to myself, no way. Sure enough, I finished reeling in my crankbait only to find that the rear hook was missing and the only thing left was what looked like a piece of wire. After my friends and I investigated, we realized that what looked like a piece of wire was actually the split ring, completely straightened out except for a little curl at the end that was keeping it connected to the lure. This was no little finesse crankbait either- it was a 7/16 oz jointed crankbait with two #4 treble hooks. Even more amazing is the fact that I was using 10 pound test. Soon enough I had convinced a majority of the people I fish with to try P-Line, and everyone agreed. Needless to say, all nine of my reels are spooled with P-Line and always will be. It has great cast ability, high abrasion resistance, and excellent knot strength. Simply put, you will not find a stronger line than this. If you don't believe me then buy some, spool your line, tie on a lure, go purposely get snagged and try to break this line. You'll be amazed with the strength.

This is very good line. Diameter is a little larger than other lines of the same lb. strengths, but very abrasive resistant. The only problem I could find is a little line memory. This is my everyday mono.

I use P-line for all my fishing. I jig for crappie and fish for big flatheads and blues. First I have to have the visibility to see the tiniest indication of a bite. One would think crappie are the finicky biters, but I've caught 50 pound flatheads that barely took the bait and without being able to see every tick on that line I could have missed opportunities. Two P-line is tough. Crappie hang in the brush as well as the big cats. Structure is where it's at and if you don't have a tough line it's easy to break off at the worst possible time. I had a 65 pound flathead last summer that was taking me behind concrete pillars below a dam and in my mind an inferior line would have never held up and let me see that fish on the scales. Im sold on p-line.

I bought this line the night before I was going crappie fishing with a friend. This friend recomended it to me so I decided to try it. later that night as I was spooling it in my spinning reel I already began to notice that it was starting to kinck... a couple cranks of the reel later it jammed my whole reel up! The next morning as i released the the bail of my reel the line shoots out of the spool like a loaded spring. This line has such bad memory it began to tangle, kinck and twist even before i had tookin my first cast ! Very disapointed and a hudge waste of money! for know on i think i am going to stick to Crappie Maxx or Mr. Crappie hi vis line.

All flourescent lines will glow in the presence of a "black light". Yellow lines seem to show up brighter than green, but all will show up in a black light.Details:

If you are getting the very large spool it should weigh no more than 2.7 kilos including the packaging. Bear in mind that is a very large amount of line, almost half a kilometer.A:
