P-Line CX Premium Fishing Line - 3000 Yards
I am 66yrs old & been fishing for over 50 yrs & this is by far the Best Line I have ever used. This Line is strong & cast easy.I use 12lb test & caught Bull Reds & 30lb Drum with no Problems.I really don't believe they could make a stronger line.

P-L CX I like it
"I use this line in 12# moss green and 15, 20 & 30# in clear flourescent on both spinning and casting reels.
I have other favourite lines for specific tasks, but I confidently recommend this line as your all-round first choice or go-to line. I use uni-knots in most set-ups, with a palomar only for drop-shots or double-hook rigging. I have never had a knot-failure in many hundreds of snags, fish and casts. I have broken or bent size 4 & 1 octopus hooks from several makers on snags and trebles on size 5 spinners. (20# line)
I bought it after first trying 20# clear on a surf-spinning outfit.
The moss green is as invisible as any line I've tried in fresh water. It casts as well or better than any of my favourites, and better than many other well-known lines, especially comparing for use on spinning gear.
The 20# is my most-used as I have it, again, on spinning and casting reels, used in salt water from rocks & jetties.
The visability and ease of use (lack of spinning-twist) are exceedingly good. Casts lay out there straight and loop-free every time. I cannot say the clear is invisible under water, but the moss green seems so.
The very thin diameters allow you to have enough line on smaller reels, or a good quantity of higher test lines on average-size gear, which can make your fishing more relaxing.
This is not as strong as PL XXtra strong, but no where near as thick or as stiff. I guess it equals or exceeds IGFA standards for line class, pretty good for a line so thin and soft.
I have used other lines which abrade much more (EZ & Cajun) in similar test-strength, other "limp" lines (XL) which hold their spool memory loops and line-twist. I also have fewer break-offs in the kelp than with some other lines.
While perhaps not as tough or strong as other of my favourite lines, it is thinner, it is better on spinning gear, and it is consistently more highly visible under more conditions than any other mono I've used. That alone makes it a very important and highly useful line for my fishing.
I choose different lines for different tasks which may not cross-over to other tasks easily or well.
This is a good choice as your number one mono line, especially for spinning or spin-casting gear.
I hope this helps you in your shopping as other reviewers have helped me.

I was very skeptical when I bought this product just this week. I chose the 8 lb test and was scared that it would be too light and I like light line when bass fishing with shaky heads. I fished yesterday at a local lake for a tournament coming up and was extremely pleased with this Pline. I got hung and could not break it. I also caught 6 bass including a 5.5 lb fish and landed all of them with a 3lber also in the mix. The line appeared to be invisible to the fish because a buddy of mine was fishing the same spot with Trilene 100% fluro and he did not get a bite and I was getting bite after bite. Great Deal.

Great line, long lasting, smooth casting.
This is the best line I have ever used on baitcasters. Long lasting, and casts are long and smooth. Very little memory. Great knot strength. Low visibility underwater. Top notch!
