I used to use Berkley XL, but this has equal, if not better castability and a smaller diameter. If you haven't tried it, you should. It is also very affordable. June 20, 2012

Outperforms more expensive lines! I have not had a fish break me off yet! Low memory, great strength, invisible under water. yes I use the P-LINE CX in clear fluorescent which is a purpleish color. It can be hard to see in certain lights, like bright sun or shadows but over all I am amazed with it. They do make other brands of P-LINE that are a hi-vis, I just haven't tried them' Hope this helps!

if you need to see the line you don't want flourocarbon, the invisibility of it is one of it's strengths. you might use braid with a uni uni knot and a flourocarbon leader (real sensitive, strong and invisible to the fish)

Yes , but unfortunately it is only offered in 300yard spools . It is called fluorescent green. I just want to say that this line defines Hi-Vis and at night under my led uv lights it looks like rope.Good Luck !!!
