Finally, a fishing line that offers the best of both worlds! P-Line's Floroclear Line has a unique fluorocarbon coating that ensures the line is virtual invisible underwater for stealth presentations. Along with a special copolymer construction, Floroclear has little memory, is very castable, amazingly durable and unbeatable knot strength. For sizes marked ''DELAY SHIP'' please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
P-Line Floroclear Line - 2700-3000 Yards
i hadn't thought about getting p-line but the employee at bass pro shops told me about it. so i bought it and it surprised me!
it is great! the flourocarbon coating makes a difference. its invisible in the water and has zero stretch and is very very strong. casts well too. i havent been using baitcasters long and i didnt have very many backlashes.

Been trying to use as many different types of Mono for the last three seasons trying to find "the one". I believe I have found it in P-Line Flouroclear. I purchased the 10# and I'm lovin it! It casts super far. And even in the chilly March weather in New York, memory is extremely low (and would probably be non existent in the warmer weather). Casting in crystal clear water, the line dissapears about 1 - 2 feet down. I got caught up in a branch using a Strike King Coffee Tube on the new Shakey Head jig head and wound up pulling up a small bush from the bottom...just goes to show, the line is super strong, can hold a knot very well without compromising strength and the hook on the new jig is super strong as well (check out that review).
All Pros....no Cons

Tried P line for steelhead fishing, jig fishing, on the Snake River. This line has worked great for me, have had only one breakoff due to an other fisherman trying to horse a fish. There have been no knot failures and the rate has been fantastic, avg 8 fish per trip with 14 pounder the biggest.

I ordered a 3000 yd spool of Pline Floroclear line. I thought it was a florocarbon line, but the package says it is florocoated. What is the difference. Does this line have all the same characteristics as regular Florocarbon line?
Floroclear is mono with a florocarbon coating. More stretch, but my experience has been that if you get a good spool itsmore durable than florocarbon. I prefer floroclear over florocarbon for most applications.
Florocoated is just that...mono coated in florocarbon. Has a little more stretch, but is the best mono you can buy. Florocarbon has little stretch and is a lot more stiff, so its harder to cast. It is nearly invisible under water, plus, it sinks. Both have their place and I would use both.
