  • Virtually invisible underwater
  • Special copolymer construction
  • Low memory
Finally, a fishing line that offers the best of both worlds! P-Line's Floroclear Line has a unique fluorocarbon coating that ensures the line is virtual invisible underwater for stealth presentations. Along with a special copolymer construction, Floroclear has little memory, is very castable, amazingly durable and unbeatable knot strength. great line i bought the 10 12 and 15# lines for cranking i put it on 2 of my revos and the bps pq. this line is very limp and manageable, it has a pretty good low stretch and sensitivity and holds up. on my last trip out i pretty much boat swung a 5# largie with 10# line. April 30, 2011
P-Line Great line for the price. Close to carbon, but when left bent as to lure to rod hookup, line will kink at top eye and needs to be cut off and retied approx. a yard. December 30, 2010
Brittle Beginings This line was near perfection when I purchased several 300 yard filler spools locally from a BassPro competitor. Something is not quite right with the 3000 yd spool from BassPro. The 12lb test looked OK, but broke off easily when fishing with the first three baitcasters that I loaded with line from the 3000 yd spool. The line quality seems to be getting more consistent though as I get further into the spool. Hopefully I'm now past the bad spots. July 28, 2010
P-line I absolutely love P-line. I have used lots of different lines over the past 20 years of fishing tournaments and keep coming back to P-line... and this new flourocarbon is awesome. March 24, 2010

I ordered a 3000 yd spool of Pline Floroclear line. I thought it was a florocarbon line, but the package says it is florocoated. What is the difference. Does this line have all the same characteristics as regular Florocarbon line?

A:
Floroclear is a copolymer which is mono coated with floro. This makes it much more manageable than 100% floro, but on the downside it sinks slower and stretches more than 100%.

Clear is very good line. After use for another day, I suggest strip off a yard and retie. Carbon is sight resistant where clear is betwwen mono and carbon. Great line for the price...

Floroclear is mono with a florocarbon coating. More stretch, but my experience has been that if you get a good spool itsmore durable than florocarbon. I prefer floroclear over florocarbon for most applications.

Florocoated is just that...mono coated in florocarbon. Has a little more stretch, but is the best mono you can buy. Florocarbon has little stretch and is a lot more stiff, so its harder to cast. It is nearly invisible under water, plus, it sinks. Both have their place and I would use both.
